A Territory That Follows the Roads

Sherman Roofing Texas works a territory that follows the roads rather than the city limits. The spine of it is US 75, which carries us from Melissa and Anna in the south up through Van Alstyne, Howe and Sherman to Denison and the lake. The cross-member is US 82, running west toward Whitesboro and Southmayd and east toward Bells. Everything inside that frame is normal territory for us, which means Tom Bean, Collinsville, Gunter, Sadler, Tioga, Gordonville and Pottsboro get the same free inspection, the same itemized quote and the same scheduling as a house three streets from the courthouse square. Storm cells cross the county in minutes and pay no attention to where one town ends and the next begins, so neither does our map.

Local knowledge — we know how the cells track

Hail damage in Grayson County is corridor damage. One spring storm can leave the north end of Sherman needing whole roofs while the streets near Austin College come through untouched. Working here every week means we have a real sense of where recent cells went, which turns an inspection into a targeted survey rather than a general look around.

Response time — distance is not the variable people think it is

Sherman and Denison sit eleven miles apart, and FM 1417 wraps the south and west of town so crews can get across without crawling through the middle of it. Our arrival windows hold roughly steady from Van Alstyne up to Pottsboro instead of stretching the further out you live. Out toward Whitesboro or Gordonville we will tell you honestly if a visit lands on a different day.

Coverage — every service, every town on the list

There is no reduced menu for the smaller towns. Replacement, repair, hail documentation, inspections, leak tracing, metal, commercial systems and gutters are all available everywhere on this page. One number, (430) 213-6146, books any of them anywhere in the territory.

Towns We Cover

  • Sherman

    Primary
    US 75 at US 82

Our home ground, from the courthouse square out to the newer building on the north and west sides.

  • Denison

US 75 North / Texoma Parkway

Eleven miles up the highway and inside our normal daily run, including the older housing stock near downtown.

  • Van Alstyne

    US 75 South

The southern end of the corridor, growing quickly, and close enough that scheduling behaves the same as it does in Sherman.

  • Howe

    US 75 at FM 902

Between Sherman and Van Alstyne on the highway, and an easy call for both inspections and repair work.

  • Pottsboro

    SH 120 toward Lake Texoma

Lake-side property with larger roof planes, where metal systems come up more often than they do in town.

  • Bells

    US 69 and SH 11

East of Sherman on the far side of the county, covered on the same terms as everywhere else.

  • Tom Bean

    SH 11

Small-town and acreage property southeast of Sherman, well inside the territory.

  • Whitesboro

    US 82 West

The western end of the corridor, with a good deal of rural and shop-building work.

  • Southmayd

    FM 902

Between Sherman and Whitesboro, rural and easily reached off the highway.

  • Collinsville

    SH 289

South-west of Sherman, acreage country where standing seam gets specified regularly.

  • Gunter

    SH 289 South

The southern edge of our map, covered on the same schedule as the rest.

  • Anna

    US 75 at FM 455

Collin County growth along the highway, close enough that the corridor makes it routine.

  • Melissa

    US 75 at FM 545

The furthest point south we work regularly, and a steady source of newer-construction repair work.

  • Sadler

    FM 901

North-west of Sherman toward the lake, rural property with long driveways and simple roof planes.

  • Tioga

    SH 377

South-west toward the Grayson and Denton county line, inside our regular range.

  • Gordonville

    FM 901 North

Up near the Texoma shoreline, further out than most of the list and still on the map.

Do not see your town? If you are roughly thirty miles from Sherman, call anyway — the grid is narrower than our territory.

How We Work the County

Our scheduling is built around the corridor rather than around a fixed radius. A crew working a replacement in Denison in the morning can pick up an inspection in Sherman the same afternoon without either job suffering for it, because the highway makes the distance cheap. That is why we do not charge differently or schedule differently across the core of Grayson County, and why a free inspection in Howe is the same free inspection as one three blocks from our own yard.

After a storm the pattern changes. Cells hit corridors, and when one comes through we will be concentrated wherever it went for a week or two. We tell people that honestly rather than promising everyone the same-week visit and then missing half of them. If your roof is not urgent and you call during a busy stretch, we will give you a real date instead of an optimistic one, and if water is actively coming into the building we will get you dried in ahead of everything else.

Book an Inspection Anywhere in Grayson County

Wherever you sit on the map above, the visit is the same: a full survey, photographs of anything we find, and a written report you keep. If work is needed you get an itemized quote, and if it is not you get told so.
